Bocci

Founded 2005 in a red barn surrounded by hay fields, on the periphery of Vancouver, Canada, Bocci today is world wide known for its contemporary design in lighting and their large and extraordinary light installations. Installations of founder and creative director Omer Abel have been exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Spazio Rossana Orlandi, Mallett, and the Monte Clark Gallery, among others.

We are still fascinated by the endless possibilities of Bocci’s Model 28, a hand made and mouth blown glass pendant, available in nearly a hundred different colours. The variety of colours and the many different ways of hanging this custom-made lighting, on copper wires, steel cables, semi rigid, in a cluster, ensures that every 28-installation is a unique piece. Over the years model 28 became our specialty and to this day it is my utter joy working with it. We are one of the very few dealers in Europe showing all colours and nearly all possibilities of hanging this luminaire at our showroom in Munich. Selva is to follow.
