Davide Groppi

From his father Davide Groppi learned the art of crafting and constructing objects. He was taught to cultivate an eye for beauty and the joy of doing things with excellence. Together, they constructed a pinball machine, a telegraph and… a lamp. 

 

Collaborating with renowned brands such as Boffi, Mutina, Paola Lenti, Agatha Ruiz, De La Prada and Christofle has earned him international recognition. His designs are now distributed all over the world. 

 

Davide Groppi’s designs are characterised by simplicity, lightness, emotion and innovation. They are subtle. Yet some have that twinkle in their design that I find particularly delightful. It makes you ‘schmunzel’, my favourite German word in.
